Dining

Vermilion Food services offer a variety of meals, including a salad bar at lunch and dinner. Students are given the opportunity and convenience to eat well-balanced meals throughout the semester. There is a daily special for students to eat as well as a la carte options, soup, salad bar, hot dishes, bag lunches, cold sandwiches, and a desert bar.

Throughout the year we have special events such as BBQ’s, Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas dinner, and theme dinners!

Meal Plans

• On campus, students are required to have a minimum of a 10 meal a week food plan. This breaks down to an average of any 2 meals a day. Students are also eligible to increase their food plan to a 3 meal a day food plan or 15 meals a week. These meals can be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we even offer the service of packing a bag lunch for students by request!
• Off-campus Students can request a 1, 2, or 3 meal a day food plan, or choose not to have a food plan at all on campus. Traditionally many of our off-campus students find themselves on campus during at least 1 meal period a day and find this a great inexpensive option.

Meal Plan Pricing (2024-25)

• One Meal Plan (5 meals/week)  $655 each semester, or $1,310/year
• Two Meal Plan (10 meals/week)  $1,080 each semester, or $2,060/year
• Three Meal Plan (15 meals/week) $1,215 each semester, or  $2,430/year

Meals are served on every each day regular classes are in session, including finals days.  

Off-Campus Meal Plan Contract

Contracts are available at the cashier station in the cafeteria.

Food Service Hours

The campus food service operates Monday through Friday excluding holidays, campus breaks, and between semesters.

• Breakfast 7:30 am to 9:30 am
• Lunch 11:00 am to 1:30 pm
• Dinner 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
