New Weight Room Equipment

Considering what to do with some excess Student Life money as a result of the cancellation of most VCC sports this year, the Vermilion Student Senate made an investment they had been considering for several years. The weight room at the college was updated with brand new, state of the art strength and conditioning equipment as well as new rubber flooring. These new weights and machines replace equipment that was 30+ years old. Student Senate wanted to be sure Student Life dollars were used for an update benefitting all students. The new weight room at Vermilion will benefit VCC students for many years to come. In total, this was just over a $60,000 investment to Vermilion’s student life program.
