Welding Club Headed to Georgia!

Congratulations to six members of the Eveleth Campus SkillsUSA Club for placing at the SkillsUSA Competition! Students placed gold in the chapter display and welding fabrication, and silver and bronze in the welding sculpture art.

They are set to take six of the gold medalists down to Atlanta, Georgia for NLSC (National Skills and Leadership Conference) on the week of June 24th-28^th.

The Minnesota North College Eveleth Campus SkillsUSA club is an official club that betters students’ technical and leadership skills. SkillsUSA competitions showcase the best of post-secondary, high school, and middle school individuals with over 395,000 students worldwide formerly known as (Vocational Industrial Clubs of America- VICA). Students enrolled in trade, technical, and skilled service programs, including health occupations, all go on to compete at the regional, state, and national level.
