Students and faculty from the Electrical Maintenance and Construction program, along with those from Hibbing High School, were present alongside Habitat for Humanity families, board members, staff, elected officials, the Hibbing Foundation, the Applied Learning Institute, and school administrators to celebrate the groundbreaking of the latest Habitat for Humanity home in Hibbing.
GRAND RAPIDS — An event at Minnesota North College-Itasca will highlight banned books as part of Banned Books Week, Oct. 5-11. The American Library Association and Amnesty International declared the week “at a time when free speech and free expression seem more directly under fire than ever,” a news release from the college stated.
A Minnesota Education Fair for all high school students and their guardians will be held at the Minnesota North College – Hibbing Campus on September 18th 9:00 – 10:30 AM.
