Minnesota North College, Hibbing Campus, is pleased to announce Melissa A. Versich as the new Hibbing Foundation Director at Minnesota North College.  The Foundation Director position is responsible for managing and supporting the organization and operation of the Hibbing College Foundation.

The mission of the Foundation is to strengthen the availability of higher education through financial support for scholarships and enhancement of programs.  With the help of our incredibly generous donors, the Foundation is able to fund student scholarships, and support educational programs, so that a college education is always accessible and relevant.

The scholarship support from the Foundation makes higher education and training more accessible to the students of Hibbing and surrounding areas.  Financial support is a key component to students achieving academic success, following their dreams, and becoming productive leaders.  The Foundation’s priority is looking to the future to serve the needs of the community of Hibbing.

Versich’s idea of a career stems from working toward something greater than oneself, being a part of a larger goal.

Versich is a graduate of Hibbing High School, as well as Hibbing Community College.  She received her Bachelors degree from St. Cloud State University, and her Masters from Bethel College.  She has served in a variety of leadership roles in academia, human resources and communication, with most recently served seven years as the Director of the Tourist Center Senior Citizens, in Hibbing.
