The Arboriculture and Urban Forestry Certificate opens the door to an exciting and dynamic career field. The demand for employees in urban forestry is high. Learn from International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certified instructors! ISA is responsible for the accreditation of postsecondary degree-granting programs in forestry, urban forestry, natural resources and ecosystem management, and forest technology.
This program also benefits from close collaboration with professionals currently working in the industry through guest lectures, field demonstrations, and field trips.
Ladder program.
This certificate can also be a ladder program for students to continue on for a two-year Associate of Applied Science Degree. The Natural Resource Technology-Forestry and Wildlife A.A.S degree is a Society of American Foresters accredited two-year program that has launched the career of many natural resource professionals throughout Minnesota and beyond.

This certificate is ideal for aspiring arborists, landscape professionals, environmental scientists, city planners, or anyone interested in creating greener urban spaces.
