Welcome to Minnesota North – Rainy River Campus! We are excited you chose to HEAD NORTH to International Falls, MN.

Orientation

New student orientation is Monday August 24th. Please see details below.

Check-in: 8:30 AM
Orientation Begins: 9:00 AM
Orientation ends at 2:30 with optional campus tours and opportunities to meet with Academic Advisors, IT, and Financial Aid from 2:30-4:30. 

New Student Orientation for incoming students in all majors (including PSEO, excluding Licensed Practical Nursing and Registered Nursing) on the Rainy River campus of Minnesota North College is from 9:00 AM-2:30 PM. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM. Students should enter campus through door 1 (the rotunda entrance).  All new incoming students are required to attend. 

After Orientation, students are encouraged to tour campus, get their student ID, meet with Academic Advisors, IT, Financial Aid, and the Book Store as needed, and stop by the Back-to-School Bash! Details about all of these opportunities will be provided at Orientation.

After you have applied and been accepted, schedule your New Student Registration Appointment here (in-person and virtual options available):

You will meet one-on-one with an academic advisor to select your courses for the first semester. If you have questions, contact Rainy River’s Enrollment Specialist, Olivia Ward, at olivia.ward@minnesotanorth.edu or text 218-324-1669 (in-person and Virtual options are available).

Returning Student Registration

International Students

Please work with International Admissions Specialist Bill Marshall at william.marshall@minnesotanorth.edu on your admission requirements for Minnesota North College.
