The Marketing & Communications Team is responsible for communications, public relations, promotions, and marketing on behalf of the College through the distribution of information in a variety of formats.

Marketing Project Request Form

This form is to be used by all faculty, staff, and students to collaborate with our Minnesota North Marketing and Communications team.

Requests can be made through this form for all current and athletics website page changes, photography and videography needs, social media posts, design assistance, Good News stories, etc.

Minnesota North College Fonts and Colors

Denim is used in a variety of ways. It can be used to add clarity with
a clean and utilitarian format to maximize legibility. Denim works well for headlines, body copy, and UI text. Denim should be use as the primary utility typeface.

Feijoa is used to add expression and personality to the brand. Feijoa Display is used for headlines and large text while Feijoa Medium is used for body copy. Feijoa Display shouldn’t be used in small type sizes. Feijoa is not used for UI text.

Our primary brand color pairing is Lake Blue 40 and Borealis Green 40. Lake Blue 40 is the primary color. These colors should be used predominantly for branded elements.

Email Signature
Your Minnesota North College email signature is your digital business card. It’s important to present your email signature in a professional and unified manner like a traditional printed business card. This email signature template contains 2 color variations as well as a version with a logo and one without a logo. Using Minnesota North College’s branded PowerPoint template ensures consistency and professionalism across all presentations. It reflects the institution’s identity, reinforcing brand recognition and creating a cohesive visual experience for the audience. Social Media

The Communications and Marketing Team creates and distributes official news releases, publications and publicity materials, provides information to campus online, publishes a wide variety of official College publicationsand provides graphic design, marketing, photographic, video production, and web design support to the College.

The office staff maintains all Minnesota North College campus pages on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. The team also serves as a resource for each campus regarding the use of social media.

Minnesota North Text Messaging Procedure

SMS/Text messaging is an efficient and effective tool for working with prospective, applied, and enrolled students.

Minnesota North College only sends text messages to students who opt-in to receive this service. Students are automatically opted-in when submitting a request for information or application for Minnesota North College. Students may opt-out at any time by contacting an admissions team member or through our solutions center support team. After receiving a text message students may also opt-out at any time by replying stop.

Minnesota North college partners with communications platforms to manage the opt-in and opt-out status of our users and issues a first message to users reminding them the rights of being able to opt-out. Minnesota North follows all guidelines for FERPA, The Privacy Act of 1974 and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act to ensure the protection of user’s data and limit what information may be sent through a text message. If the conversation requires sensitive information, the student will be asked to communicate in person, via the phone, or through their student email.
