What type of student are you?

We’re here to help
support all types of students.

New Students

Are you an incoming new student at Minnesota North College? We’ll help you submit your application, get reading, math, and English placements, help determine which degree or major you want to take, register for classes, set up tuition payments, and more.

Transfer Students

Considering transferring to Minnesota North College from somewhere else? Or would you like to bring the credits you earned here to a four-year college or university? Our Academic Advisors are here to help you navigate the transfer process, regardless of your chosen path.

College for High School Students

High School opportunities allow eligible high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors in public, nonpublic, or home schools to take college classes for high school and/or college credits. These credits are free and can be transferrable. This includes PSEO, CIS, and more.

International Students

All students are welcome at Minnesota North. We have students enrolled from many different countries. Because we have guaranteed conditional admissions with other universities, many students begin their studies here for a fraction of the cost and then transfer their credits to a four-year university.

Adult Learner

Are you an adult learner returning to college or attending for the first time? This can be intimidating, but we’re here to ensure the process feels as seamless as possible. We’ll inform you about our flexible education options and all the additional resources you may find helpful, like daycare or night classes.

Non-Degree Seeking

For some students they may only want to take a class or two to earn credits or decide if we’re the right fit. For others, maybe they want to take a specific class not offered somewhere else. Here you’ll find information about what works best for fitting a course into your schedule.
