Program Overview
This Pre-Professional Healthcare Program features the most comprehensive two-year transfer program in the state. Students can choose between: Pre-Physical Therapy, Pre-Occupational Therapy, Pre-Physician Assistant, and Pre-Pharmacy.
The program provides the first two years of biology, chemistry, psychology, and mathematics coursework in an engaging, lab-centered learning environment.

Reasons to Attend Minnesota North
Gain practicum experience.
Pre-Professional students will be able to obtain hands-on, real-world experience doing a practicum in their area of interest. This is a unique opportunity only available at Minnesota North College.
Professional development.
This program will feature a seminar/professional development course each semester. This sequence of professional development courses teaches students to become successful! Students develop skills in time management, teamwork, and interpersonal communication. They will begin to navigate their career pathway, emphasizing their ethical responsibility and obligation as professionals in the healthcare industry.
A learning community.
Students will move through each program as a cohort. Projects will be completed as teams and learn to build community with fellow cohort students and faculty. Advising, counseling, and access to peer-to-peer tutoring is available as well.
