Where to Apply
Graduation Application
All students are required to fill out the graduation application in order to walk at any of the ceremonies. Apply by May 1 to be included in the printed program.

Graduation Regalia
Where to order.
Caps, Gowns, and Tassels are required for students to wear at the graduation ceremonies. Students are encouraged to pre-order their graduation regalia. They will be available for pickup on Monday, May 5, 2025.
Honor and Veteran cords will be available. Phi Theta Kappa students will have honor stoles and tassels available as well.

Ceremony Information
Students should fill out the graduation application in order to be included in the graduation program by May 1, 2025.
The Graduation Ceremony will take place at 4:00pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center.

Commencement practice will be held before the ceremony at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center. Attendance is strongly advised.
A backdrop for personal photos will be available after the ceremony. There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend the ceremony, and no tickets are required.
Graduation Attire
If you plan on participating in the commencement program, you are required to wear a cap and gown.
Virginia Campus Students – Visit the bookstore for pick up beginning Monday, May 5.
Eveleth Campus Students – Pick up available on campus beginning Monday, May 5.

Ceremony Information

The Graduation Ceremony will take place at 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the Vermilion Campus Gymnasium.
There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend the ceremony, and no tickets are required. Following the ceremony, a reception will follow in the cafeteria at no charge to graduates and guests. Additional details are on the participation form below.
Students walking in the Vermilion Campus Graduation Ceremony must complete this form by May 1, 2025. A special part of the Vermilion Graduation Ceremony is the slideshow! Students are asked to submit photos that represent student life. These photos can be emailed to Michelle Z.
Graduation Attire
If you plan on participating in the commencement program, you will wear a cap and gown.
Caps, Gowns, and Tassels will be available for pickup in the Vermilion Campus Bookstore beginning Monday, May 5.
Honor cords will be available for pickup prior to the ceremony in the theatre lobby on Wednesday, May 14 at 6:15pm.

There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend the ceremony, and no tickets are required.

The Rainy River faculty will be serving a celebratory breakfast to all graduates in the Commons on Friday May 16, 2025 beginning at 10:00am.
Commencement practice will be held Friday May 16, 2025 at 10:30am in the Rainy River Gymnasium. All graduates are required to attend the practice session.
The Graduation Ceremony will take place at 1:00pm on Friday, May 16th, 2025, at the Rainy River Gymnasium. Line up for Commencement is in the Student Center Hallway at 12:30pm.
There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend the ceremony, and no tickets are required. If you have a guest needing accommodations for seating, please contact Amy Amundsen by Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
There will be refreshments for graduates and their friends/family in the Rainy River Commons immediately following the ceremony. Please join us!

Cedulie’s Photography will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in room H-104 for students wishing to purchase pre-paid graduation photos. Photo envelopes are available at the Bookstore and Switchboard and a link for ceremony photos will be in the program.

Commencement practice will be held before the ceremony on Friday, May 16th, at 3:00pm in the Hibbing High School Auditorium. Attendance is required. Following practice, there will be refreshments and picture opportunities for graduates available in the High School Cafeteria. Please report to the High School Cafeteria no later than 4:00pm for check-in.
There is no limit to the number of guests who can attend the ceremony, and no tickets are required. The doors will open to the public at 4:00pm.
