The Minnesota North College Early Childhood Education program hosted its first Grow North Early Childhood Conference at the Itasca and Mesabi Range-Virginia campuses.

The Itasca conference was held Friday, Feb. 15 and the Mesabi Range-Virginia conference was held Saturday, Feb. 16. Both events invited students, early childhood professionals and others to learn about the power of play. Sessions included topics like nature-based learning, art, music, sensory exploration and building resistance.

Congratulations to Early Childhood program faculty Cody Geisler, Julie Poderzay, and Erin Wirtz for a successful debut conference.
