Educators from across the Northland recently gathered at the Mesabi Virginia Campus of Minnesota North College for the Grow North Conference, an energizing early childhood event focused on the power of music, connection, and belonging in early learning.

Designed for early childhood professionals, childcare providers, and students exploring the field, the conference featured dynamic breakout sessions on responsive caregiving, creativity, inclusive environments, and whole-child development. Participants experienced engaging, research-based workshops and walked away with practical strategies to support young children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

Events like Grow North create powerful opportunities for educators to learn from one another, build community, and strengthen the impact they have on the children and families they serve.

“Seeing so many educators come together at the Grow North Conference was a powerful reminder of the passion and dedication within the early childhood community. When educators gather to learn, share, and grow together, the children and families in our communities benefit.”
