Welcome to the Alpine Village at Mesabi Range
Minnesota North College – Mesabi Campuses (Virginia and Eveleth) do not own and operate campus housing. Student have the option to live off-campus or complete a housing agreement to live in Alpine Village (which is located on the Virginia campus) and is a roughly 10 minute drive from the Eveleth campus.
Alpine Village is owned and operated by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Virginia, MN (VHRA). Students are responsible for all Alpine Village housing charges applied to their student account. The relationship between VHRA and Minnesota North College allows student payments and financial aid to be applied to Alpine Village housing charges. However, even with financial aid, some tuition and housing costs may still need to be met with other means beyond financial aid awards.
