College for Kids
College for Kids is a chance for kids ages 4-12 to experience hands-on age-appropriate learning in small doses at a college campus! Kids are able to choose up to 3 different 1 hour classes to experience new and exciting areas of interest!

Join us on the Itasca campus for five days of fun! Students ages 4-12 have the opportunity to choose from a variety of enrichment classes. We have over 20 course offerings from LEGO, STEAM, sewing, cooking, cake decorating, painting, and outdoor games. Come explore, create, and try something new!

When and where is College for Kids?
Date: June 8-12, 2026, Monday-Friday from 9AM-Noon
(Ages 6-12 choose three classes at 9, 10, and 11am. Preschool ages 4-5 choose one class to stay in for the whole time)
Location: Minnesota North College – Itasca Campus
How much is it to attend?
Parents and guardians can pay either $90 for 3 classes, or $30 per class.
When can I sign up?
Registration for the 2026 College for Kids session opens mid-May on the Community Education website. Check back for more information.
