Orientation

New student orientation is Monday August 24th with the exception of Nursing which meets Thursday August 20th. Please see details below for your specific academic program.

Liberal Arts/PSEO

New Student Orientation for incoming Liberal Arts, PSEO, Transfer Pathways, and Health Science Broad Field majors is Monday, August 24th and begins at 9:00 AM in the Hill of Three Waters Commons (Cafeteria Area).  This orientation will last until approximately 1:00 PM. All new, incoming students are required to attend. If you have additional questions about this orientation, please reach out to your academic advisor. Nursing

New Student Orientation for incoming nursing students is mandatory. Orientation is held Thursday, August 20th and begins at 8:00 AM in Janezich Hall, B212.  For additional information, please review the Nursing D2L course or reach out to: Bryleigh.starich@minnesotanorth.edu

Peace Officer/Law Enforcement

New Student Orientation for incoming Peace Officer/Law Enforcement students is mandatory. Orientation is held Monday, August 24th and begins at 8:00 AM in Janezich Hall, B212 and runs through 3:00 PM. If you have additional program questions, please reach out to: brent.bradley@minnesotanorth.edu

Technical Programs

New Student Orientation: Monday, August 24, 2026  Get ready to kick off your college journey! During your Technical Program Orientation, you’ll meet your instructors, receive program specific class information, learn about campus resources and policies from Student Services, and connect with other students in your program.  You will have an opportunity to take part in a few fun campus activities. Be sure to stop by the Bookstore to order or pick up your textbooks and supplies before you head home!

Culinary Arts: Orientation begins at 8:00 AM. Meet in Mosely Hall, C-128 (Culinary Arts Kitchen). If you have additional questions about orientation, please email: serenity.marotz@minnesotanorth.edu

Dental Assisting: Orientation begins at 8:00 AM. Meet in Mosely Hall, C-137 (Dental Assisting Classroom). If you have additional questions about orientation, please email: dawn.robillard@minnesotanorth.edu

ITNS (IT Networking & Security) Program: Orientation begins at 9:00 AM. Meet in Mosley Hall, C-225 (ITNS Classroom). If you have additional questions about orientation, please email: keith.boelk@minnesotanorth.edu

MLT (Medical Lab Technician) Program: Orientation begins at 9:00 AM. Meet in Janezich Hall, B-204 (Automotive Classroom). If you have additional questions about orientation, please email: laura.parendo@minnesotanorth.edu

MLT (Medical Lab Technician) Online Program: Students please check your D2L for an online orientation course. This course will open on Monday, August 24th after 1:00 PM. Medical Coding Program: Students, please check your D2L for an online orientation course. This course will be available Monday, August 24th.  If you have additional program questions, please reach out to: susan.bremer@clcmn.edu


Registration

New Student Registration (Except PSEO)

After you apply and are accepted, you will schedule a New Student Registration Session. Admissions will reach out to you by phone and email to assist in scheduling an appointment with your academic advisor/counselor. This appointment will allow you to meet 1-on-1 to select your courses for the first semester. You will have the option to choose a meeting in-person, virtual, or by phone.

Returning Student Registration

Make an appointment (in-person or virtual) with a counselor/advisor by calling Student Services at 218-403-9200 or schedule online here. Scroll down to “Advising Staff”, click “Hibbing” and then “Book an Appointment” under your advisor’s name.

PSEO Registration

If you are new PSEO student, refer to the PSEO Application Process.

Send completed PSEO paperwork to Carrie Pearson at carrie.pearson@minnesotanorth.edu or bring it to the Student Services Office at Minnesota North College – Hibbing Campus.

*New PSEO applicants will receive an email with a link to schedule a class registration appointment after all required forms and documents are received.

International Students
