About This Program

Get the skills you need to be a leader in Business Operations, all online! If you are interested in working in a fast-paced, computerized business environment, this program is for you. The Business Operations and Management program will give you the skills and knowledge to be proficient in the latest business software applications, business concepts, and business operations. Students will learn presentation, problem-solving, customer service, and team-building skills that are vital in today’s workplace. Completely Online Courses

The courses in this program are offered completely online, which helps to fit continuing your education into your work and family life. Each course is structured with assignment deadlines, but you have the flexibility to do the work on your time schedule – whether its 3pm or 3am.

Hands-on Training and Small Group Learning

Small class sizes help students get to know each other through weekly discussion boards, so your classmates are there for you too. During the program, you will receive hands-on training in keyboarding skills and the most current version of Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, as well as QuickBooks accounting software.

I chose Mesabi Range because I saw the Business Operations and Management program. I called and the lady was very nice so I gave it a chance. My experience so far is great, I love it there. Even though I do online classes it’s very organized and you learn a lot. You learn so much about business; different things like Quickbooks, project management, and learning how to work with Microsoft and more. My favorite memory is getting to know my teacher, she is so amazing, and getting to know my team of staff that works with me. I would tell other students I highly recommend going to Mesabi Range. There is a lot of different classes that you can choose from and if anybody is wanting to do a business class, I highly recommend Brenda’s class. She is so amazing and she helps you through to graduation.

I was ready to try something new. I applied for a sectorial positing. During the interview I knew almost immediately that I was underqualified and this was a waste of everyone’s time. I did some research on the Minnesota North website and discovered that Mesabi Range Campus-Minnesota North offers a business course that is completely online.
 
The flexibility of the BOPM (Business Operations and Management) program has fit well in my work/mom life schedule. I have been able to maintain all responsibilities while learning the skills needed to work in an office setting. The whole experience of going back to school could not have been any easier.
 
If there is anyone who is considering going back to school don’t be scared and take that first step. It will be the best decision you could make for your future. I graduated high school 15 years ago. I had little skills but with the help of the Minnesota North-Mesabi Range Campus I have learned core skills that are needed to be successful.
 
Being out of school for as long as I have It was scary to think about going to college. I’m glad I made the decision to go back. It was so easy to get enrolled and start classes. Anyone, no matter what their age or skillset, can go back to school and achieve their dreams. I love the school and the BOPM program.
