NORTHSPAN in partnership with True North Stars and Minnesota North College will host a Public Safety Expo at the Minnesota North Rainy River campus on Thursday, March 27 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Jobs in public safety provide a rewarding, service-focused career pathway. Common public safety careers include law enforcement, firefighting, emergency medical services, paramedic, and more. There are a variety of careers to pursue in public safety, not just within those areas. These types of careers are exciting and likely to be different day-to-day while serving the community. There are many high-demand and high-wage job opportunities within this career field in Northeast Minnesota. This event will provide an opportunity to connect with professionals that are currently working within this field and will discuss the benefits of pursuing a career in public safety as well as sharing their professional and educational experiences.
