About Our Program

Capstone Project

The Manufacturing Capstone course brings together student’s manufacturing course projects, papers and works with the knowledge and experience they have gained through coursework, to serve as a portfolio and evidence of knowledge, experience, and skill. Students will build portfolios using their created part models, blueprints, toolpath models, process plans, physical parts, class projects, and code. Students will be well prepared with this evidence in-hand when interviewing in or entering the manufacturing workforce.

Following the Capstone course, students will embark on two summer internship rotations. This will expose them to a broad variety of industry experiences.
