The Vikings had a great showing at the Region 13 National Qualifier tournament this past weekend, with several athletes earning their spot to compete at the national level.

In the 125-pound class, Jimmy Wollenberg fought hard and finished in 4th place. Kody Fleck also earned 4th place at 141, while Cade Kohler came in 4th at 157.

Nelson Anderson at 133 and Tucker Haas at 174 both earned bronze medals, securing their places at the National Tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Connor Gmahl, competing at 184, was the standout of the weekend, taking home 1st place and becoming the Champion in his weight class. Isaac Pearce also had a strong performance, winning the 197-pound class to secure his spot as well.

Congrats to all the qualifiers! These 4 will head to the National Tournament on March 7th and 8th, ready to compete for the top spot.
