Minnesota North College Waives Application Fees During Minnesota State Week
Hibbing, Minn., May 20, 2026 – Minnesota North College will waive application fees during “Minnesota State Week,” set for June 22 – 26, 2026. During Minnesota State Week, special campus visits and information events will be held at Minnesota North College as well as at all 33 Minnesota State colleges and universities. Students will also have a chance to hear more about the Minnesota State Promise—our promise to provide a high quality education at the lowest possible cost, including FREE tuition for students who qualify.
“The goal of Minnesota State Week is to make it as easy as possible for prospective students to get the information they need to help them make the best higher education and career choice they can,” Sarah Merhar, Director of Admissions said. “Waiving the application fee and offering special visit events is just one way Minnesota North College works to break down those barriers to a higher education.”
